This is the official website for Swapmeat: an action game where the player visits other planets, shoots aliens, and swaps body parts (AKA meat) with them to gain their powers. Charming, whimsical, and adventurous.
How It Works
The site is a responsive, single-page marketing site built to drive wishlists and community engagement. It features a MailerLite-powered newsletter signup with reCAPTCHA integration, an embedded social media feed via Behold.so, and direct links to the game's Steam page and social channels. Structured Schema.org VideoGame data is included for SEO. The layout is mobile-first with clean, branded styling that reflects the game's art direction.
Why I Built It / How I Use It
I created this website as an employee of One More Game, the studio that created Swapmeat. It serves as a replacement for their previous website, where I was able to condense information and actionable items on the page, and incorporate our team's artwork and branding for the site theme.
